Its branch appears at the tianchi point near the armpit and runs up along the chest and the medial side of the arm and down through the tianquan, quze, ximen, jianshi, neiguan and daling points to the laogong point at the center of the palm and De-fore ending at the zhongchong point at the tip of the middle finger.
The malfunction of the pericardium channel may produce cardiac pain, dysphoria, chest pain, oppressed feeling in the chest, dementia, swelling of the armpit, yellow discoloration of the sclera or flushed face.
