This is an ailment in children above 3 years of age, involving spontaneous urination during sleep. It can be divided into 3 types: Patients with deficiency and coldness in the lower energizer may suffer from spontaneous urination during sleep, pale complexion, mental tiredness and physical weakness, aversion to coldness, cold limbs, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, and discharge of clear urine in long streams; patients with deficiency of spleen and lung Qi may suffer from incontinence of urine during sleep, shallow breath, no desire to talk, mental tiredness, sallow complexion, poor appetite, diarrhea and spontaneous sweating; and patients with damp-heat pathogens in the liver may suffer from spontaneous discharge of a small amount of yellow urine with a foul smell, high irritability and red lips.

Recipe 1: Ten red dates, green plum 10 g, 20 coccons and sugar 50 g.
Administration: The first 3 materials are boiled in water with sugar to prepare a concentrated decoction for oral intake before 4 pm for 10 days.
Indication; This recipe can clear heat pathogens from the liver and control spontaneous discharge of foul yellow urine due to accumulation of damp-heat in liver of children.

Recipe 2: Ten dried lichees.
Administration: A decoction of the lichees is drunk once a day for 7 days.
Indication: This decoction is used to treat bed-wetting due to deficiency of spleen and lung Qi. The urinary bladder of a pig is filled with lichee meat 50 g and sticky rice 50 g, and boiled for oral intake, once a day for 5-6 days.

Recipe 3: Leek seeds 9 g and an adequate amount of wheat flour.
Administration: The leek seeds are ground and mixed with wheat flour to make cakes for oral intake, twice a day for 8 days.
Indication: This recipe can warm and tonify kidney Yang, and control spontaneous urination due to deficiency and coldness in the lower energizer.
