Mkhris pa Diseases With China's Tibetan Medicine
Mkhris pa Diseases
As one of the three elements in the body, mkhris pa is also an indispensable component. Its physiological function is to produce heat so that the body temperature can be maintained at a constant level, and all physiological functions can be carried out, such as digestion, circulation, and respiration. Hence, mkhris pa can be called the fire of life. This is similar to the fire of life-gate and young fire in TCM, without which life could not be maintained.

On the other hand, exuberant mkhris pa will become a pathological condition, producing too much heat in all bodily activities, and exuberance of the bodily functions. These are called mkhris pa disorders.

Etiology
There are three main categories causing mkhris pa disorders: immoderate intake of food and drink, overeating of hot spicy, sour, salty and greasy foods that are difficult to digest; emotional disturbances, especially rage, that damage mkhris pa injury to a critical site of the body, such as wounding by a knife. This might cause heat pathogens appearing at critical sites, and eventually resulting in general fever over the whole body.

Manifestations
Mkhris pa is closely related to the color of the body. Once the mkhris pa is affected of traditional chinese medicine the normal color of the body changes. For instance, the cornea, the skin and the urine all show a yellowish color, accompanied by abdominal distension, dyspepsia, or even vomiting. In severe cases, bile may be ejected.
