Recipe1: Almond 10 gm, leaf of mulberry 10 gm, chrysanthemum 10 gm and an adequate amount of cane sugar.

Indication: This rice gruel can clear heat, resolve phlegm and treat cough due to phlegm and heat pathogens.
Recipe3: Fresh water chestnut 15 gm and jellyfish 30 gm.
Administration: The cleaned jellyfish is cut into small pieces and boiled with fresh water chestnut over a slow fire for over one hour for oral administration.
Indication: This recipe can tonify Yin, moisten the lungs and stop cough, to treat cough due to deficiency of Yin.
Recipe4: An adequate amount of tremella.
Administration: The tremeila is ground into powder for oral administration at the rate of 5-10 gm, 2-3 times a day.
Indication: Tremella is used to treat cough due to heat pathogens in the lungs with hemoptysis. Because the tremella is a tonic, it may not be used to treat cough due to wind-cold pathogens or damp-heat pathogens with phlegm.
