Slowly move and keep the palms close to the eyes for one minute. Rub the eyes with both palms in the same direction, first to the left three times and then to the right three times (see Fig. 11). After a short pause, move the hands downwards with the middle fingers passing Jingming (B 1) in the depression 0.1 cun medial to the inner can thin, along the sides of the nose to the chest and abdomen (see Fig. 12). Place the legs together, separate the hands and turn the feet out slightly, restoring the original posture of standing still. After standing a little while, slowly open the eyes, looking to the left, to the right and to the front. Your vision will be clear and bright.

This whole set of exercises takes about 30 minutes. Practice twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.

Still qigong can be performed at any time, before or after-meals, in the morning or evening, or during a break at work or between classes. If it is done as an exercise between classes, stand still for 2 or 3 minutes, and then make the inner and outer qi work in consonance by qi guidance and massage the eyes with the outer qi. Practise
5 to 10 minutes each time. It is better for beginners to practice qi guidance more, at least 5 minutes each time, until the feeling of qi has become very strong immediately after "closing" the palms. Then, they should practice eye massage more than qi guidance. Consistent practice for more than three months usually gives a stable therapeutic effect. However, prevention from eyestrain is also important. Negligence of eye hygiene will cause recurrence of myopia.
