Chinese Herbs Treatment of Rlung Diseases
Since rlung diseases are varied, treatments differ accordingly, so that, rather than going into details one-by-one, it would be better to offer only some general therapeutic rules. The treatment can be summarized in three aspects:

Diet: This occupies a major position in the treatment of rlung diseases. The foods indicated for dung patients include onion, garlic, bone soup, mutton, the flesh of horses, asses and marmots, crude sugar, old butter, oil of black sesame, hot "tsam pa" highland barley cake, distilled wine and milk from a yak. These foods are warm in nature with high nutrients, and are indicated for flung patients.

Daily life: The patients should live in a calm atmosphere, avoiding 8lrong light, and wearing loose clothes to keep warm. Rest is important, with enough sleeo. Patients should be carefully attended and shouldn't be excited.

Medicines and other therapies: Soup made with animal bones with marrow, to which is added dry ginger, Piper Longi and Fructus Myristica.

Another recipe contains sallucidum, dry ginger, or a Ri-lun-hu-yang powder (Semen Punica, Cortex Cinnamon, Piper Longi, saffron, Radix Asparagii, Radix Polygonum, Radix Mirabilis, Fructus Tribulus) or Life-preserving powder of ll ingredients (Flos Eugonia, heart of wild ox, Resina Ferulae, black Aquilaria, Semen Myristica, Piper Longi, Resina Boswellia, Radix Vladimiria, Flos Carthami, Fructus Terminalia chebula, Flos Gossampinus).

For other rlung diseases, the medicines used are mostly of a heat nature. Moxibustion is commonly applied at different acupoints.
