Clinical Medicine In China's Tibetan Medicine
Bsed on the uniqueness of fundamental theories and etiology, Tibetan medicine has its own unique titles of diseases and pathological interpretations. Of course, there are also diseases with titles common in Tibetan medicine and biomedicine, such as common cold, asthma, diarrhea and vomiting. However, there may still exist some differences between both systems within these disorders.

Rlung Diseases
The three basic elements have been introduced before, among them, there is "rlung" which is omnipresent over the whole body. Its physiological function is very significant, including ensuring blood circulation throughout the body; the vital physiological process of respiration; the metabolic process of food digestion; the transportation of essence and dross; the movements of the trunk and extremities, and the reaction of the body with its surroundings. It is obvious that the rlung of Tibetan medicine is quite similar to that of "qi" in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), though there are some differences. It is exactly due to the extensive inclusion of the functions of rlung that, once it contracts an illness, its condition is serious, and its involvement quite extensive.

Etiology
This includes dietary, daily life and emotional factors.
Dietary factor: All hunger, malnutrition, too much spice, especially foods of bitter taste (including drugs of bitter taste) can lead to rlung disorders.

Dally life activities: Mainly an irregular dally life, such as excessive physical exertion, especially during a hunger condition, indulgence in sexual activities, insufficient sleep, insomnia, excessive control of urination and defecation, excessive shouting and too much talking.

Emotion: Depression, sadness and sorrowfulness,
Severe anemia is another important factor, including chronic bleeding, instant massive hemorrhage without timely replenishing can lead to rlung disease.

Manifestations
According to the traditional Tibetan medical viewpoint, over 20 manifestation can be seen in rlung disorders.
