Red Urine Indicates Heart Disease
In general, red urine indicates heart disease, but it should be differentiated whether it is heat in the blood pressure or in an asthenic fever. The former reveals a rich vapor, and is concentrated and turbid; the latter reveals large foam, with less vapor, and is clear. There is also a kind of pathogenic fever invading the interior where the urine sample contains no foam, although it is also red in color. In a case where the urine sample is free of foam and green in color, it can be chinese medicine diagnosed as a protracted cold. If cold urine changes rapidly after standing for a while, then it is a hidden fever.

Pseudo-manifestations should be carefully studied. When a greenish-white urine sample appears, it indicates a cold disorder. However, when there are plenty of floating materials, thick and concentrated, it is a real fever with pseudo-cold. Conversely, when the urine sample appears deep and yellow like a heart disorder, but there are no floating materials, with virtually no little vapor or smell, it is a pseudo-heat but really a cold disorder.

Traditional Tibetan doctors also make prognosis of the disorders through urinalysis, i. e. when the urine is free of vapor and smell, or appears black or scarlet in color, it is considered a fatal disease.
