Foot Massage

Automatic adjustment of acupoints and reflecting areas on the hand and foot:
It has been proposed that there is an "adjusting chain" present in living organism as well as in non-living substances in the universe. This adjusting chain can also play its role in a small local portion of the body as well as in the entire body of a living organism. In brief, the acupoints on the hand are specifically related to their correlated organs, because they are all under the control of the adjusting chain. The stimulation applied at the acupoints and reflecting areas on the hand and foot can quickly and effectively adjust the function of their correlated organs and tissue.

6. Emphasis on massage at painful reactive areas:
Pain of the reactive areas is caused by the local accumulation of uric acid crystal, which is harmful to the body. Massage at this area can promote the discharge of uric acid, if enough water has been drunk, and can clear this toxic substance from the body to prevent and cure disease.

The foregoing discussion about the therapeutic mechanisms of hand and foot massage may help the reader understand the effects of this massage more profoundly, although final conclusion of these problems have not been settled yet. Therefore, the objective mechanism of hand and foot massage remain a puzzle waiting for an answer.
