Singing Songs and Getting Qi and Blood to Flow

Stand at ease with arms hanging at sides and feet shoulder-width apart. Raise left hand to the left with mind focused on the left before breathing evenly to get qi and blood to flow on the left side of body if there is something wrong with the circulation of qi and blood on the left. Repeat the whole process with "left" and "right" reversed if qi and blood fail to circulate on the right side.

This exercise is effective for the stagnancy of qi and blood.

Plucking Flowers and Getting Qi to Flow

Stand at ease with arms hanging at sides and feet shoulder-width apart. Raise left arm forward and rub it with right hand whilst breathing evenly. Return to the starting position and repeat the whole process with "left" and "right" reversed. This exercise is good for pain in the arm, shoulder and back.
