Shenque(CV8)

Course
This channel originates in the uterus, and makes its downward way through the perineum, across the pubisure part, along the midline of the abdomen and the chest, through the throat to the mandible where it turns round the lips and up to Yinjiao(DU28). Via the face, two branches of the channel ascend to the regions below the orbits of the eyes.

Shenque(CV8)
Location:On the middle abdomen and at the centre of the umbilicus.
Indications: 3.bdominal pain, borborygmus, apoplexy characterized by prostration syndrome, prolapse of die rectum, intractable diarrhea.
Puncture prohibited. Moxibustion with ginger or salt is more often used, apply 3-5 moxa cones or 10-30 minutes' moxibustion.
