Zhizheng(SI7)

Course
This channel starts from the tip of the ulnar side of the little finger (Point Shaoze, SI1). and follows the ulnar border of the dorsum of the hand, ascends to the wrist, and then through the styloid process of the ulna and tbe posterior border of the forearm, finaily passing between the olecranon of the ulna and the medial epicondyle of the humerus. It continues to travel along the posterior border of the lateral aspect of the upper arm, and out of the sloulder joint. Then circling round the shoulder-blade, it meets the Du Channel at Point Dazhui (DU14). From 1bert it
goes forward into the supraclavicular fossa and then connects with the heart. Descending along esophagus, it passesthe diaphragm, reaches the stomach, and enters its pertaining organ, the small intestine.
One of the branches of this channel emerges from the supraclavicular fossa, and ascends along the neck to the Cheek. From there it reaches the outer canthus of the eye, and then goes into the ear (at Point Tinggong, SI19).
The other branch of the channel, which is separated from the cheek, ascends to the infra orbital region (Point Quanliao, SI18), reaches the lateral side of the nose and terminates at the inner canthus. Then it is distributed obliquely over the zygoma and connects with the Urinary Bladder Channel of Foot- Taiyang.
