Ancient Chinese doctor Bian Que

Once upon a time, Bian Que went to the Kingdom of Guo as a traveling physician. As walking by the palace gateway, he overheard that the king's son had just departed his life. He was not substantially dead, it is a thanatosis. Don't worry, I can cure the illness. " Subsequently, he took out a single acupuncture needle, and acupunctured in acupoints.The prince regained consciousness soon. They then boiled mine herb-al medicine and used it for compresses applied to the prince's armpits,after which he was able to slowly sit up. The prince was then pre-scribed boiled herbal compounds to be taken for less than twenty days, and fully recovered his health. This news was spread, everyone was saying that Bian Que could bring the dead back to life. He de-serves the fame "a highly-skilled doctor of his times".
This story of Bian Que's illustrates that the contemporary doc-tors like Bian Que could be able to point out causes of illnesses accu-rately and use acupuncture needles to treat patients.
