The pathogenetic of depressive psychosis are stagnation of Qi and phlegmfire, imbalance between yin and yang.Accumulation phlegm and qi resulting in depressive psychosis;phlegm-fire disturbing upward resulting in mania.
Depressive psychosis is manifested as silence,dementia,paraphasis,quietness and hyperpleasure,while mania as tumult,restless-ness,beating and scolding and polyanger.
