Acne
An infusion of 3g of almonds in 1 pint of water to be consumed daily.
Anxiety
Create a salad comprising of lettuce, spinach, cabbage, cucumber, onions and tomatoes.
Bronchitis
A finely chopped pear added to 5 chopped water chestnuts. Soak in hot water for an hour and consume contents slowly throughout the day.
Colds and Flu
Mix 15g of spring onion with cinnamon, ginger and honey. Add mixture to a pint of water and boil contents until quantity is reduced to half. Consume slowly throughout the day and repeat if necessary.
Constipation
Mix stewed pears, bananas and honey and eat at room temperature.
Diarrhoea
Infuse 2 tablespoons of ground ginger with green tea in 1 pint of boiling water. Consume slowly.
Immune Boosting
Create a broth using pieces of one whole chicken (skin and bones removed), 3 quarts of water, 3 finely chopped onions, 3 chopped carrots, 3 chopped sticks of celery, 2 cloves of garlic, 3 inches of ginseng, 1 cup of reishi and shitake mushrooms, sea salt to taste. Boil all contents slowly over a low heat, bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Continue simmering for 2 hours. Strain well to extract essences.
Morning Sickness
Boil 60g of sliced ginger with 2 pints of water. Simmer for 10 minutes and consume slowly.
