Foot therapy works for promoting blood circulation of far end on arms and legs, enhancing heart function, improving the heart situation of lacking oxygen and blood, preventing angina pectoris, and myocardial infarction.

Reflecting areas in pathology

Kidney, Ureter, Urinary bladder, Lung, Heart, Adrenal gland, Thyroid gland, Stomach, Lymph nodes (chest), Thoracic spine and Scapula.

Acupuncture points

Shanyinchiao, tsusanli, Fenglung, Yongchuan,
Taihsi, Taichung, Yinlingchuan

Steps and methods

1. Press Kidney, Urinary bladder, and Heart areas for 100 times each, with the pressing force producing a moderate local pain.

2. Press Ureter, Lung areas for 100 times each. 30---50 times/minute.

3. Rub and knead Sanyinjiao, Zusanli, Fenglong, Yongquan,
Taixi,
Taichong, Yinlingquan for 30 times each, with the pressing force producing a moderate local
pain.

4. Press Adrenal gland, Stomach, Lymph nodes (chest), Thoracic spine, Scapula and Thyroid gland areas for 50 times each per minute.

Sequence of massage

When you practise foot massage yourself, first massage the left foot, and then the right foot.

Course of treatment

Do it once a day or every other day, it is more successful with herbal medicines.
